a little about yours truly.....
If there is one definite I've learned about this wonderful hobby, it's the fact that true scale auto crafting is nothing short of absolute artwork, and that my friend is my quest. The fusion of scale cars & and art. When I do a project I favor the older style ground-pounders, with that "built-on-a-shoestring-budget" look. A car put together out in the back garage kinda thing. No high dollar corporate sponsors muckin' up the works, just a group of guys (who I call "Earl" and the gang) doing all they can to get a car onto the local track.... with the dollars in their wallets and the change in their pockets! I began my journey into this hobby in the Fall of '03, and from my very first build I began trying to figure out how to make my cars more "realistic" looking, versus a bunch of plastic parts all painted and glued together. Every build I begin is definitely a learning experience, and I stay aggressive as possible with shows & competitions to stay sharp. So it's safe to say that custom, modified building is right up my alley! Have I ever finished that "perfect" masterpiece you ask? Nope.... and chances are slim that I ever will, but they're getting better one build to the next and that's all that matters to me!
Peek into some of the links (at the very top) here on the page, and if you would like to include your favorite builds or links just send the info via good 'ol e-mail (my mail link's below). I'm also working on the photo gallery of the built cars I've done so if you'd like to view 'em please do, and send along any comments or suggestions....I would love to have your input! Thanks for stopping by and I DO hope to see you again real soon!
